If there is one house in fashion you can count on extravaganza I would say it's Chanel. Karl Lagerfeld is not a man who compromises. Especially not when it comes to the venue of a fashion show. For numerous seasons the Chanel shows have been held in Grand Palais in Paris. You can say a lot about King Karl, but you gotta give it to the man; in these recession times he's thinking big! I especially like the set where Chanel's headquarters in Rue Cambom was rebuild in the scale 1:1.
