Big Bang

I would love to be the lucky owner of this little black dress by Gianfranco Ferré, that kind of look like a Big Bang dress in tulle. Fabulous!

Class that fits Paris. Luxury that fits Milan.

I always look forward with great excitement to Bottega Veneta's show. Thomas Maier is a true artist when it comes to discreet luxury. It's clear to see, even on just pictures on a computer, that Thomas Maier only uses the best materials. He must have a fantastic team of tailors to make such beautiful shaped clothes. What I really like about it is that it's not really that Milan-like. It's so classy and chic that it in one way fits better in Paris, but still the luxury is so typical Italian. Especially when it comes to the leather goods such as the shoes and of cause the bags. One day I just gotta have a Bottega Veneta bag!

Back to Tom Ford

Last night Gucci held their spring/summer 2010 show in Milan. A cool collection by Frida Giannini. Show after show I have become a bigger and bigger fan of her. Perhaps because it could seem as if she is going back to the Tom Ford era. The grey dress is by Giannina, while the purple is by Tom Ford. It's a true Gucci look; short, tight, shinny, and sexy, sexy, sexy.

A Prada web

This dress by Prada is like a spiders web in the morning with dew. Pretty hard to wear, but still fabulous.

Is Marc Jacobs really that fab?

I really like Marc Jacobs and what he can do with fabrics, shapes and colors. But sometimes I think he goes a bit to far, and apparently it's only me. Every one is love-love-loving every thing Marc Jacobs does. It's like every thing he touches is becoming gold. But come on; look at it...

Posh is still going strong

So this is Victoria Beckham's third collection. And it's no secret that I'm a big fan of her style and her work as a fashion designer. I think her collections are fabulous and very chic, but I must say that if she wants to stay in business she have to look more in to day-wear. Her evening-wear is gorgeous but unfortunately it's not every one who can wear a red carpet dress all around the clock. Myself included...

And then he created Hermés...

This is an amazing bag. And what is even more amazing is that I now am the lucky owner of one. One of the most beautiful key fashion items in the history. I now have one thing less on my list over fashion must-haves I need to own before I die.

Beautiful backs

This is why I love Chanel. The Haute Couture for fall 2009 was as always just beautiful. Especially the backs of the dresses caught my eye. Sigh...!

Go for a hat

At the Dior haute couture show there was a lot of hats. And since I love hats, that's just great! The look here is as it was in the 50's when the New Look was born. I love it!

The new New Look

It was clear that Galliano had gone back to the house of Dior's roots for inspiration for his haute couture collection for this winter 2009. The New Look look's were there in an updated style which made the collection classy and timeless without it getting boring.

The couture is on!

Just a look from the Chanel couture show in Paris this week. Grand Palais is as always the venue.

What is inside of John Galliano's head?

What the f**k is going on inside John Galliano's head. Sure he's a genius, but he is a bit crazy as well. He must be to make a collection like this one for mens spring/summer collection 2010. I really like the way he uses all the different colors and all the different fabrics to create all these unique looks. It's kind of a mix of Napoleon meets Jack Sparrow meets Hercules. Kind of a spectacular blend when you think about it.

Sometimes Dolce et Gabbana are just spot on

Usually I find Dolce et Gabbana a bit boring and I can't really understand how they can get so popular. But then again when they pull something of like they did in their show for fall 2006, I really understand why people adore them so much. I think that Napoleon's Josephine would have been proud and bought it all. It was clear to see that she had been one of the biggest inspirations to that collection.
There are just some collections that you remember because of their greatness. And this is truly one of them.

He never disappoint his audience

Thomas Maier always makes me happy with his work for Bottega Veneta. The resort collection for summer 2010 was as good as it gets. Not many designers can make a whole collection where every piece is something you would like yourself. That's my kind of guy. Another thing I really adore about Bottega Venta is that it's so clear to see that all, and I mean all, the materials are the best you can get. Of cause all the big fashion houses uses only the finest qualities, but it's not always that visible. And sometimes you just wonder how they can get away with so high prices. But at Bottega Venta it's okay with the extreme prices, because you can really see and feel that what you buy is really made with love and with the finest materials. That is a quality that I hope Bottega Veneta will always maintain.
I also have to mention the colors in this collection. The color pallet is just to die for. So delicate and spicy. Very low key but maintaining the coolness and the classy chic look that is so perfect in these times of crisis.
