Shoes

Okay it's no secret that I love shoes, as in adore shoes and can't get enough of them. Seriously. With the right shoes you can spice every outfit in the world. All that said there are of course some shoes that are more foxy than others... Lets take a look at John Galliano for Dior's latest collection, spring/summer 2009. Of course one could only expect the unexpected from John, and most of the time he really makes me fell that the world is a better place with him in it. But then again what went wrong here John?! Are we all suppose to dress up as african/inca ladies now or what was your thoughts about this?

Models of crap # 2

Iekeliene Stange... Some times a picture just says more than a thousand words... No one thing that maybe could explain it; she is from the Netherlands, perhaps she has been a little to much in Amsterdam...

Models of crap # 1

Agy oh Agy you are so amazing, so refreshing, so.. so.. so full of fifteen-minutes-of-fame-London-chic. She has such a pretty face and then she just spoils it with that feeling of I'm-my-own-stylist-and-the-crowd-loves-me attitude. Some say she has that edge and is a younger model of Kate Moss - just without the coke part(!?) I must say that I think Kate has been played out and yet you can't open a Vogue without her face promoting designers such as Donna Karan to Roberto Cavalli. But will the world love Agyness Deyn when a paparazzi gets her with white powder up her nose. I'm thinking yes they will, because then she will be more like Kate.
When it comes to style - look at her for Christ's sake. What went wrong Agy!?? It's just tiring and annoying and not cool.

Queen Elizabeth vs. Pink

I really love Alexander McQueen! My birtish god. My lord he is great. He is funny but stil really know what he is doing. His shop in Old Bond Stress in London is one of my favorite places in London! But I must say that I don't really know how I feel about Pink wearing Queen Elizabeth on her body... But then on the other hand, if Pink could't pull this off then who could?!

I miss the god old days of Prada...

I must say, while the hole fashion world is so amazed by Prada I stand back and think to myself, is it really that great? Of course she is a talented designer and she is always giving the Milan fahion week something else than all the (almost boring) hot sexy dresses from Vercace and Cavalli. Yes she is different but that is not necessary always a good thing. Some years ago I was a big fan of Miuccia Prada, but I most say "good feelings gone". Around 2005 she made collection after collection with the most beautiful sophisticated and very chic dresses. She would have made Jackie Kennedy proud. But now her collections makes me think of the something cheep just sailed in from Poland or so. I think it's bad, really bad. Also her models have change. A couple of years ago the models looked strong and fierce, now her models are not women, but young girls, who are nothing but bones.

On the left we have spring 2009 and on the right fall 2005

Christian ohh Christian

When it comes to shoes (and it often does) I have one man I see as my shoe god. I am totally in love with Christian Louboutin. Every time I go to Paris I must go to either rue Jean-Jacques Rosseau or rue de Grenelle to look at all the beautiful shoes. It is truly marvelous to enter a Louboutin store with the blood red floor and the large mirrors, and then of course all the shoes, each and every one shown as a little piece of art. I am so extremely lucky to be the owner of no more than three Louboutin pairs. The latest pair I got in London where I used all my money on that pair of boots. All the money spend in one place, but I do not regret it for a second. I think they look like a woodlouse, but in a good way (if that is possible?!). I must upload a picture of them later on. But for now I will just show a bit of his fantastic work. Else go to his website www.christianlouboutin.com or www.net-a-porter.com (one of the many online stores).

Narciso Rodriguez and Michelle Obama

So in the first place I did not really fancy Michelle Obama's dress when she and the rest of the world celebrated her husbands winning the american election. But the more I look at it the more I like it. I have been a fan of Narciso Rodriguez for a long time and think his dresses are very sophisticated, sexy and very feminine. She really shows that you don't have to be a skinny skinny model on a run way to wear that dress. She looks very sophisticated and relaxed at the same time. Very nice I must say. Well done for the future first lady. Thumbs up!
